Cellulite is the collections of fats and covered substances which are common appeared on the thighs, stomach and hip. It is collections of fat that push against the connective tissue beneath a person's skin which causes the surface of the skin to dimple or pucker like the surface of an orange peel.
Cellulite is more visible than fat deeper in the body and mostly thin people have cellulite because the layers of fat are just below the surface of the skin. When collagen fibers which connects fat to the body skin may stretch allowing the fat cells to bulge out and it results into cellulite.
A poor diet, "fad" dieting, sluggish metabolism, hormone fluctuations, and even dehydration may play a role. Heredity may play a part in whether or not you have cellulite. No amount of weight reduction, exercise, massages, wraps, creams, supplements, or surgery has proven to effectively eliminate it once you have it.
According to Cosmetic Surgeons and dermatlogists consider cellulite as a legitimate problem that patients seek to have them "cure", most of the medical community doesn't view cellulite as a disorder, but as a normal condition of many women, and some men.
Some measures can be applied to avoid cellulite as:
Eat a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and fiber
Stay hydrated with plenty of fluids
Exercise regularly to keep muscles toned and bones strong
Maintain a healthy weight (no yo-yo dieting)
Don't smoke
